Dr. İpek Balıkçı Çiçek

İpek Balıkçı Çiçek was born on November 27, 1988 in Yüreğir, Adana, Turkey. She completed her undergraduate education at Çukurova University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Mathematics in 2010. She received her master's degree in mathematics from the same department between 2010-2012. After receiving her master's degree, she started her doctoral studies in mathematics in the same year, but left the program after being appointed to İnönü University, Faculty of Medicine in 2014. She then continued her academic career at İnönü University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics.

He completed his second master's degree in the Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics between 2014-2017 and completed his doctorate by specializing in this field between 2018-2023. During this period, he actively participated in various scientific projects, collaborated with different disciplines and made significant contributions to his field of expertise.

During his doctoral studies, Ipek conducted extensive research on biostatistical methods, data analysis techniques, data mining, medical data analysis, classification of medical data, genomic data analysis, decision support systems, bioinformatics and medical informatics. His work resulted in the publication of many scientific articles in these areas.

He has been working as a Research Assistant at the Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics at Inonu University Faculty of Medicine since 2014. He has actively participated in many projects, academic seminars and conferences over the years. He currently continues his academic and scientific studies by working on innovative projects in the fields of biostatistics and medical informatics at Inonu University.
