Prof. Dr. Nevzat Erdil

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Erdil is a distinguished name in the field of academic publishing and medical research, combining a productive scientific career with a unique editorial expertise. Born in Kocaeli in 1969, he began his academic journey at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine and graduated as a medical doctor in 1992. He specialized in cardiovascular surgery at Ankara Turkey High Specialization Hospital and earned his specialization in 1998. His academic rise continued at İnönü University, where he received the titles of Associate Professor in 2005 and Professor in 2011.

As a leading academic and clinician, Prof. Dr. Erdil’s contributions extend to numerous leadership roles. As of January 2024, he serves as the Head of Education and Administration of the Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic at Antalya City Hospital. His international expertise was honed during his tenure at the Heart Transplant Clinic of the Texas Heart Institute in Houston, USA.
